Theres a fair bit to keep the young ones 'entertained' while you top up your tan
The pool is excellent, theres a games room with a Pool table, playstations; internet access etc all have a small fee for usuage. Theres is also a play area with swings etc for the little one
Hope this helps

Just back from my first Kos holiday, my wife and daughter were in Tingaki last year.
Superb time had by all 4 of us and the Chrysoula appartments and the family were first rate.
Stayed in block B and the only small problem was on the tiny shower but hey-ho......you can always use the one in the block behind the bar.
As it was the end of the season a lot of the bars and restaurants nearby were closed but it didnt spoil anything for us. Still the pool bar was a very good stopgap and the Tuesday BBQ and quiz were great - specially as WE WON!!!
I would have no problem in suggesting Chrysoula to fist-timers and we will definitely be back.

My wife and i stayed here in June this year in block A. It was bloody awful, we had a room on the top floor and as you went downstairs, you could watch the cockroaches going up. We reckon its an eighties building and the cupboards etc reflect that. A word of warning, the toilet sink and shower are set in a long narrow room. When you open the door it bangs on the sink, so you have to enter the gap and then close the door. The toilet faces the narrow part and is just about ten inches away from the facing wall. You have to get on it as if you are riding a horse. Now we are both 55 and don't like riding horses, so if your not that agile or are infirm in any way avoid this block like the plague. Swimming pool is ok but the snack bar is expensive, a beer costing 3 euro's. More moaning, it is an awful long way to the best part of Kefalos, at least a 30 min walk as the bars and taverna's near the Chrysoula are indifferent at best. We tried a few places from the suggestions here, but by the gods they were not good at all. Best beer, go to Maria's Bar on the harbour road, a really good beer there called VAP. Its brewed in Athens and is very very moorish and is only 1.50 euro. Best places for eating, Maria's, really good and the Stop Inn. There i had the best liver and onions i've ever had. Do try and look hard for accomodation down the harbour end if you can, we honestly would not want you to be disappointed by staying here.

Just returned from our first visit to Chrysoula's Apartments and cannot praise them enough. They are clean and the best equipped self catering accommodation I have ever stayed in. In addition to the usual two ring hob and fridge, there is a mircrowave, toaster, iron, kettle, fans and safe deposit box (38 euros for two weeks). They also have air conditioning but we did not need it in May.Chrysoula's family are very friendly and I can understand why many people return year after year. I shall be eternally grateful to Chrysoula for driving me to the pharmacy and offering to lend me money for prescription drugs when my partner was taken ill on the last day of our holiday. Colin - The beach is just a short walk from the apartments. Across the main road behind Jim's supermarket. Another supermarket (Oasis) is just five mins walk towards the harbour and stocks just about everything you need. It takes about 45 mins to walk to the harbour and there are lots of shops and restaurants along the way. - Have a good holiday.
